Taragui is the main brand of the Argentinean Las Marias plantation, with a long tradition of growing and producing yerba mate dating back to 1924.

Taragui sin palo is a strong, dustless sin palo / despalada yerba (no sticks).

Dry it only fine-ground mate leaves.

The taste of the first brew is rather bitter with a noticeable, slightly coffee-like acidity. Very "character". In the aftertaste you can find a walnut, dark chocolate, and everything has a smoky note. The bitterness will soften with successive spills, but be careful with brewing time. If the infusion is held longer, it will be very tart and bitter.
