Rio Negro Yerba Mate 50g

Rio Negro is an Argentinian dome with a unique leaf-to-twig ratio: 80% of the dried leaves are green leaves, and 20% are small and medium twigs. This is a bit more twigs than in despalada mate. Thanks to this, with the high strength of the infusion, an appropriately distinctive and long-lasting flavor was obtained.

The plants are harvested from strongly sunlit plantations in the state of Corrientes in the Northeast of Argentina. This has a positive effect on the production of caffeine in mate trees.

Drought is practically dust-free. The expressive, yet medium bitter taste leaves a pleasant, astringent aftertaste on the palate.
